This is very quite while running. I bought this because it was a Western Digital. Have no problems with it at all. Also like the rubber slieves at the ends which can be removed. It gives it a sense of safety and does not slide around easily.

I must admit that usually I'm more careful with my things but unfortunately this hard drive has definitely got the rough end of the deal!
This hard drive has been dropped numerous times, had large quantities of alcohol spilt on it, been attacked by a chewing Hamster(don't ask) and still works as well as the day I got it.
A very reliable piece of kit, whippet fast and easy to set-up!
