Expensive it may seem but the quality is outstanding; high class leather and secure magnetic closure with a sturdy lined structure . My only gripe is that the case is oversized for the i player touch; it is clearly designed for the i phone; when closed it holds the i player securely but when flipped open and in use you do need to be careful not to tilt the case forward as the i player easily slides out.
I have given it four stars after comparing it with a case my son purchased for less than half of the price of the Proporta; his case was not very good quality leather but worst of all the side magnetic closure stopped the i player working resulting in a complete i player re set. If you are looking for a smart high quality case then this is the one; the gadget is expensive so why spoil it with a tacky case? If it gripped tighter when open I would be happier but this would not deter me from purchasing this case again.

I have now had this case for the best part of two months and I am very impressed with the quality of it. Firstly I would like to mention that I bought this for my iPod touch3g and it fits perfectly. Secondly the case has a magnetic clip which does not affect the performance of my iPod in anyway or cause what others have said about other cases in that it freezes and you have to reset the iPod. The quality of the leather is superb and I really like the ivory contrast of leather for the inside of the case. The only trouble with the lighter colour of leather is it tends to get black marks down the sides.
I originally bought this case as it would fit in my speaker dock without taking off the case however even though it does fit I have found that because my speakers are quite old it doesn't recognize the charging function for the iPod.
To summarise the case it is very smart, it holds the iPod very securly and protects the screen sufficiently well too. There is no need for an extra screen protector unless you are really paranoid.
So I highly recomend this case to anyone with any sort of iPod touch or iPhone.

I was sent this product for review and below you will be able to find out everything. There is also a link to a YouTube Video.
When I first looked at their enormous selection of cases and protectionn for your cherished devices, I was having a hard time at what to pick. Mainly because of the quality and design of the cases and their kindness to include 50 FREE songs + 1 FREE Audiobook from eMusix and a satchet of tea!
After choosing the Aluminium Lined Leather case, I was expecting to wait for approx. a week or two, little did I know that it only took two days! It came extremly well packaged and great presentation of the product. The packaging for the case was really easy to remove too!
My first impressions of the case were well under-estimated! The leather was real, brushed metal with the engraved proporta logo and soft, white leather on the inside. It smelt fantastic. (Weird I know!) There are parts left exposed to reveal the volume control and the connector & earphone jack to be easily accessed. On the front there is a metal bit, if you will, with "Proporta" engraved, giving it a really classy look! The leather is also hand stitched onto the case. When you open up the case, you will find the screen of your iPod Touch with the protective leather cut around the only button on the front. It makes it look stunning with the white leather finish on the inside. When you want to close it over, just flip it and there is a cool magnetic pull to it to assist in closing and to keep it closed.
Also in addition... the case is slimline so about a quarter of an inch more size to it.
In conclusion, all summed up... GET IT NOW!!! Don't be like me and wait until your iPod Touch is all scratched and scored, keep it looking great.

Although a more expensive item it is well worth the extra money for something that will last a lifetime. I'd looked over several cases and this was by far the best - easy access and solid to protect your iPod.

I wanted a nice looking case that would adequately protect my ipod. I was a bit put off by contrasting inner leather on the pictures. When the item arrived I was impressed with the quality of materials and manufacture. It also looks nicer in the flesh than on the pictures. The ipod fits in snugly, but is still easily removed and seems well protected. All in all a great product.
