 Good little personal radio March 9, 2010

This radio is great for insomniacs like myself and will switch off after 90 minutes when, hopefully, one has gone to sleep! It is easy to use in the dark using just touch and is easy to program. I find the earphones a little uncomfortable for my ears though and FM stations seem to be difficult to tune into but this maybe due to my location in a valley and not a very efficient arial in the form of the wire of the earphones. I have no regrets about buying this little radio however - does the job!

I use this radio with lightweight headphones mainly in bed to avoid disturbing my wife. It is ideal for this purpose having good reception, tone and easy to use controls. The single 3A battery is lasting well. I find it much better than the clunky Pure 1500 DAB radio. The Roberts Sports 995 is a very nicely designed product.

GREAT SIZE AND WEIGHT. RECEPTION NOT AS GOOD AS I HAD EXPECTED. WOULD BENEFIT FROM A BELT CLIP FOR EASE OF USE IN GYM. HEADPHONES FALL OUT WITH TOO MUCH MOVEMENT OF HEAD AND ARE NOT ALL THAT COMFORTABLE.
REALLY LIKE THE PRE SET BUTTONS.

Other than a great little radio there isn't much more I can say. It does everything I want it to. Looks and feels well made, very easy to use and if you need the instructions they are clear and simple.
Would I buy another, yes, without hesitation.
