Product Description
With an extra receiver for your Marmitek PowerMid XL infrared extender set you can control audio-visual equipment which is located in a second room. If your equipment is hidden away in a cupboard then you simply connect the optional Marmitek IR Eye extender cable to the receiver and you can control the equipment without having to open the cupboard doors. The Marmitek PowerMid XL extra receiver also works in combination with Marmitek remote controls which are equipped with a radio frequency (RF) transmitter such as the Marmitek EasyControl 8, the Marmitek EasyTouch 35 and the Marmitek PC remote. It works by receiving the RF signals (which can pass through walls and ceilings) from the remote control and converting them into infrared signals (which can't pass through walls and ceilings) allowing you to control your audio visual equipment at a distance, without the need for a PowerMid XL transmitter.

No faff, no fuss, just plug them in (sender and reciever) and stick the little IR pads to your kit, or just in front of them, if you wish, and the kit all does its thing from inside your cupboard, under the stairs or in another room if you really need to. BE AWARE, these DO NOT send any other information other than the remotes' signal. I gained a huge space in my lounge and put this on the mantel-shelf instead.!

Great little gadget. Easy to set up (just plug it in the mains) and easy to use (just point your remote at it) so it's perfect for me. Wish I'd bought an extra receiver so we could have had one in the Kitchen as well as the bedroom but I'll pick up an extra one soon enought.
No problems with interference or reception and you don't notice the occasional little blue light flash so it just sits there and does its thing. Glad I bought it.
