Nice performer December 10, 2008 C. Lochhead (Edinburgh, Scotland) Nice set. The keyboard feels good, the mouse is a little flimsy but a good set if you're after a black wireless set. Not had a problem with it and I've had it for a while now.
good value September 7, 2008 S. Ward (UK) We bought this to replace the original Advent wired keyboard that came with our computer. Set-up was easy, everything worked from the box. We had one glitch after a few days when the mouse stopped working, but the standard technical fix of turning the computer off and on did the trick. The keyboard is a little on the flimsy side, the mouse feels fine, but our standards are not high having used the 'free' Advent keyboard for 4 years. My guess is that a heavy keyboard user might wear it out fairly quickly. I would echo what a previous reviewer said about it lying rather flat on the desk, even with the little feet down. It has all the buttons we need. We have not had it long enough to know if the lack of an off switch will cause a problem with battery life, but we have plenty of rechargables (quite cheap now) if needed. The switch to wireless is nice, although having wires never really bothered me - I use wired keyboard and mouse all day at work without a problem. All-in-all for 20 this is pretty good value for a wireless keyboard and mouse for light domestic use and it suits us well. I would probably buy something tougher (& inevitably more expensive) for more regular use.
